It seems like Gilmore Girls fans have been waiting for the Gilmore Girls reboot for quite some time.
It was announced last year that the reboot was going to air in 2019, but the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said that the network wouldn’t air the revival until 2021.
That’s now apparently up in the air.
That means the show may have to wait a bit longer before we get to see the revival.
So, where does this leave us?
We don’t know yet, but it looks like the revival might be on hold until 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
If that’s the case, the Gilmore revival could take place sometime between 2018 and 2019, at which point it would presumably return.
That could mean the revival could air before or after the Gilmore reboot airs, or sometime after.
It’s a little unclear exactly when the show would air, though.
According to THR, the network wants to wait until 2021 for the revival, which could mean that we’ll see the show before 2019.
That would make it the first time since Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life that we haven’t seen the show in 2021, and it’s also the second time in less than a year that it hasn’t aired in 2021.
It seems clear that Amy Sherman to be in charge of the show, which is now in its sixth season.
There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to Gilmore Girls, so it’s always exciting to see a show return in a way that keeps fans invested.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to finally get a look at the revival sometime in 2021 or so.
