Slater, who stars in the upcoming sequel, Slice, is set to star in the new film Christian Slater Gets Cliche.
The pic follows a fictionalized version of Christian Slater who is caught up in a plot that will change his life forever.
Christian Slater, who is set for his fifth Oscar nomination on Friday for his role in The Revenant, is repped by CAA and Anonymous Content.
Christian Slater Gets Criche is due out Nov. 18.
Christian and Slater are also reuniting for the first time since their 2014 breakup.
“I’m thrilled to finally get back to the world of my character, Christian Slater,” Christian said in a statement.
“Slicing Up” will be produced by the team behind Slice and is based on the story of Christian’s former partner, actor Paul Walker.
The film is written by David Koechner, who has worked with Slater on other films.
Slater and Walker also starred in the 2013 comedy comedy, Cliches.
Slaters last film, the 2014 biopic The Reaver, won him a Best Actor Oscar.
Christian, who will turn 70 on Nov. 28, will play a man who discovers he’s had a second chance at life after a cancer diagnosis.
He’s now trying to raise money to pay for cancer treatments and is seeking help for his physical and mental health.
Christian’s career started in Hollywood with a stint on The Golden Girls and his breakout role in the 2000s sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
Christian is set in his hometown of San Diego.
