A Christian Academy in Ohio was “destroyed” by “sudden unexpected death” Tuesday morning, with school officials reporting “a large fire” at the school in a small town west of Columbus.
According to a news release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, officials responded to the school on Tuesday morning to reports of a “large fire.”
When they arrived, they found the building “completely engulfed in flames,” with no one inside and no exit, the release states.
No one was hurt in the fire.
Officials have not released any information about the cause of the fire, but authorities did say it is not being treated as suspicious.
According in the release, investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation were investigating the cause.
