Brandie is back in the top 10 again, and she’s got her fans cheering.
The 23-year-old Brit was voted the UK’s biggest pop star for the sixth time in a row, with her latest single ‘Darling Nikki’ topping the chart in its fifth week.
The song’s success came despite the singer missing three weeks of the last 10 months due to a hip injury.
Ahead of her latest release, which was released on Tuesday, May explained why she had not played in front of the crowd in front the St Pancras Arena.
“The last time I was here, I just went to a party in my apartment and I got into my car, and that was the last time,” she told BBC Radio 5 live.
“I’m just trying to be positive, because it’s nice to have the support from fans again.”
It’s nice that I’ve got people that I can say to because it means I’m not getting a chance to sing for them.
“The Brit has been back in top form after missing three months of the past 10 months with a hip condition.
She was in the middle of a run of five Top 20 singles and two albums that earned her her a £100,000 pay rise.
May also said she would like to see the likes of Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas re-signed.”
People can only be so good at their job,” she said.”
There’s a bit of a problem with people not wanting to work with each other and working on songs together.
“That’s something that I want to change, that’s something I’ve been working on for a long time.”
Hopefully we can get something done.
“Maybe I’ll do it one day.
Maybe I’ll have the chance to do it.”
